Baseball Strength Drill: Rice Bucket


  

 

The rice bucket is a great tool for developing hand, wrist, and forearm strength. Performing these drills 2-3 times a week will help build the strength and muscle memory needed for throwing and hitting.

Perform each exercise twice, 30 seconds each exercise. All you need is a 5 gallon bucket, and about 15-20 lbs of rice.
